TORK Won an Award from İnovaLig Competition

SMS TORK came second in the "Innovation Organization and Culture SME" category with its work culture innovation "Lean Production" in the InovaLIG competition, Turkey's first innovation development program organized by the Turkish Exporters Assembly.

The companies that stand out with their innovative approaches and achievements in the business world received their awards at the InovaLIG, where Turkey's innovation champions were determined within the scope of Turkey Innovation Week, organized by the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM) for the 10th time this year. At the award ceremony held at the Haliç Congress Center, Enver Kaya, Chairman of the Board of Directors, received the award on behalf of SMS TORK from Prof. Dr. Vedat Işıkhan, Minister of Labor and Social Security, and Mustafa Gültepe, President of the Turkish Exporters Assembly.

Enver Kaya said that they are very happy and proud that SMS TORK, which is a pioneer in our sector as Turkey's first domestic solenoid valve, pneumatic actuator, pneumatic piston valve, pulse valve and electric actuator manufacturer, was deemed worthy of such a meaningful award. Kaya said, “SMS TORK was deemed worthy of the award in the 'Innovation Organization and Culture SME' category with its approach that focuses on innovative ideas in marketing, process, service, business model, working culture, sustainability, and social areas, apart from product innovation within the organization. Winning such an award on the 100th anniversary of our Republic has a special significance for us. Since 1985, we have been the pioneer of our sector in Turkey. Today, we carry Turkey's name around the world by delivering our products to more than 85 countries. In the coming periods, we will continue to develop products that stand out in the competition and provide sustainable growth with our domestic production by anticipating the needs of our customers with our approach that puts innovation at the center.”

InovaLIG, launched to raise innovation awareness in companies and supporting innovation-based export growth, aims to provide companies in Turkey with significant intellectual capital through the IMP3rove methodology, which is applied in 17 countries in Europe. InovaLIG determines the innovation leaders of each year and provides an important opportunity for companies to establish an innovation culture in their organizations and daily operations by creating innovation reports.
