1985, the first foundations of SMS-TORK

The first foundations of TORK were founded on the question of why we do not produce locally. For this purpose, TORK brand started to serve in Karaköy by Enver Kaya in 1985. Product varieties became the first domestic production in the sector in Turkey. Later, it was moved to the workshop in İmes Industrial Zone and a machine park was created and mass production was started.

1998, First opening abroad

Our first opening abroad started in 1998 with e-mail.
We have prepared our first website and started to e-mailing. Without all this, it was impossible to reach abroad. Visiting was a dream for that time. The cheapest and easiest method was to reach it by e-mail.

2003, Orientation towards innovation, establishment of Ar-Ge unit

We established our R&D department in order not to fall behind from the developments in the world and competition with abroad. In this way, we made an innovation in our product range by focusing on our research. We made revisions in the exterior image and interior design.
We certified our quality by obtaining ISO 9001 and CE certificates.

2005, Participating in the first international fair

We attended the international fair for the first time in 2005.

2007, Our R&D innovations

Solenoid valve coils for the first time in Turkey, we produce our own design with the sleeve and the core group and university cooperation. Also, we produced natural gas solenoid valve manual reset, regulator and limit switch box for the first time.

2012, We moved to our factory in Gebze Imes Industrial Zone

We moved to our new factory in Gebze, İMES Industrial Zone and expanded our production park.

2013, We added new documents to our quality.

We added ATEX, TS 16949, EAC and RoHS certificates to our quality.

2015, We renewed our face.

In 2015, we renewed our face and took on our new corporate identity. In line with our vision, we chose an identity that represents innovation and modernity. Meanwhile, adding new products to our product range, we continued our first in Turkey. The first electric actuator in Turkey, hygienic actuator, and we produce energy-efficient package. In addition, we have developed the technology to control products with wireless in industrial automation systems.

2016, Continuing Innovation

Scotch yoke pneumatic actuator for the first time in Turkey, we produce cryogenic heavy duty pneumatic actuator and valve. In addition, we received the NSF certificate, which is the first food-compatible production certificate in our industry.

2017, keep growing

We added the SIL certificate to our quality certificates. We have worked to modernize our production process. We added the Varnasan brand to our organization. Our R&D department has made improvements on our electric actuator. We produced the ATEX electric actuator.

2019, Exporter to the Most Countries Award

At the award ceremony given by ISIB in 2019, we were selected as the first in the category of "Exporting to the Most Countries".

2023

Our Multiturn Electric Actuator won the IF Design and Good Design awards, one of the most prestigious design awards.
We ranked second in the "Innovation Organization and Culture" category in the İnovaLİG competition, and third in the Sustainability Awards organized by Kocaeli Chamber of Industry.
Today, TORK products are preferred in 87 countries. TORK, which carries out its production in its facility established on a closed area of 9000 square meters in Dilovası, provides solutions to its customers with its domestic products.
