Coil Suitable for Aggressive Environments and Underwater Applications

TORK coils that can operate underwater and in aggressive environments have an IP68 protection class.

For underwater and aggressive environment applications, the IP68 coil is coated with special material for corrosion resistance.

Protection against dust (IP6X) and water (IPX8) has been tested according to TS3033 EN60529 standards, achieving IP68 protection.

Teflon-coated solenoid valves are suitable for operation underwater and in aggressive environments.

IP68 and teflon-coated solenoid valves, suitable for aggressive and underwater environments, have been subjected to a 350-hour salt spray test. Protection performance was sufficient and no issues were encountered during testing.

Designed for high-humidity areas, outdoor exposure to rain and water, underwater applications up to 10 meters, dusty and aggressive environments.

Our IP68 coils for underwater and aggressive environments come standard with a 3-meter cable, or custom length upon request.

All types of our solenoid valves can be manufactured to operate in aggressive and underwater environments.

Solenoid valves open and close when energized by coils. When the solenoid is energized, the core moves to operate the valve. Coils consist of cylindrical copper wire windings. When energized, the coil generates a magnetic flux. The coil fits into the coil housing and is secured with a nut.

TORK coils deliver superior performance with their unique design and are long-lasting. C42 coils are designed for high-humidity areas, outdoor exposure to rain and water, underwater applications up to 10 meters, dusty and aggressive environments. They have IP68 protection class.

For aggressive and underwater applications, the coil’s core plate is coated with a special material for corrosion resistance.
