S5078 and S5079 Series Compressor Solenoid Valves are 2/2-way, direct-acting, small-bodied solenoid valves. S5078 is normally closed, while S5079 is normally open.

The S50 series compressor solenoid valves are specially developed for hot, oily, and pressurized air, and are therefore mainly preferred in compressors. They can also be used in any line carrying hot, pressurized, and oily air. Solenoid valves should be used with a filter. Installing a filter at the valve inlet will extend the service life of the valve, especially in lines with contaminated fluids.
